Lady Eagles' Successful Season
By: Anastasia Kellogg and Angela Castro
Our Lady Eagles were on a winning spree. In the games, the B team would play first and the game would start at 3:30 and would at end approximately at 3:50. The A team would start at 4 and would end around 5:00. Most of the games were at home or at other schools.
Sharis Rush, an eighth grader on the A team, said “ I enjoyed playing in the games and learning more about basketball.” She also stated, “We all worked together and some good team leaders were Layla Johnson and Nyasia Jones.”
The only game that our A team Lady Eagles lost was when they were going against West middle school.
The girls were enjoyable to watch as they played. Their teamwork skills were really good. The games were accompanied by music played by the pep band. Also the cheerleaders and dance team were good throughout the games and during their halftime performances.
The Lady Eagles ended with a winning season.
